Fight the Good Fight

We strive to follow the example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who cared for the vulnerable, protected the weak, and brought hope and healing to those in need. He taught the importance of loving and honoring children, reminding us of their innocence and value.

Today, children around the world face exploitation, abuse, and harm. We stand as advocates and protectors, working to defend children from abuse, trafficking, and other injustices. Our mission is guided by the commandment found in Psalms 82:4: “Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

We look forward to the day when peace and righteousness will prevail throughout the world.

Tender Mercies Within the Darkness

As a CIRF team leader I’ve experienced darkness in several countries throughout Latin America. Places where most individuals avoid like a plague become the workplace for the brave men and women who join our operations team. It has been during some of these moments that I’ve experienced the most tender mercies and observed the resilience and faith from those being exploited.

I have been inspired to be my best by following the example of those who have lost it all. I recall many occasions where victims of exploitation shared their faith in God and prayed they would have the strength to overcome the environment and tribulations they called life. Some shared their faith by pausing for moments to pray for those around them. Others hoped to one day be advocates for the vulnerable. Many expressed gratitude for the most basic of needs such as food for that day or the ability to survive.

These true survivors inspired me more than I had imagined. I was strengthened and humbled by their words and actions despite the horrors they faced daily. Within the suffering and malice, hope and faith emerged from these warrior survivors. Even in the darkest corners, light was shown unto me. I found that survivors are the light within the darkness.

As disciples of our savior Jesus Christ, we fight for THEIR light to overcome and consume the darkness around them. I was shown tender mercies to help my team, and I stay focused and complete our missions. I learned that hope and faith is present within survivors.

At CIRF, we feel a sense of responsibility to those placed in our path and pray for guidance to positively impact lives. We ask that you join us in the fight against this evil and help us bring survivors to a path of healing.

Spiritual Warfare

Ephesians 6

11:   Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12:   For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13:   Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14:   Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15:   And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16:   Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17:   And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18:   Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with

all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
