Kaime Stroot chatted with Jeremy Clegg, a former FBI agent and current board member for the Children’s International Rescue Foundation (CIRF).

Jeremy has dedicated years to combating human trafficking and helping those affected by this horrific crime. Jeremy talked about CIRF’s vital work, the importance of aftercare for survivors, and how the community can get involved in the fight to end human trafficking.

Some of the ways that CIRF is addressing the needs of human trafficking victims and survivors:

  • Rescue and Support Services: CIRF works to rescue trafficking victims and provide immediate assistance, including safe housing and crisis support.

  • Trauma-Informed Care: CIRF offers trauma-informed services to help survivors heal emotionally and mentally from their experiences.

  • Legal and Case Management Support: CIRF provides legal advocacy and personalized case management to ensure survivors receive necessary protection and services.

  • Rehabilitation and Empowerment: The foundation offers rehabilitation programs, education, and vocational training to help survivors reintegrate and build independent lives.

  • Community Awareness and Advocacy: CIRF raises awareness about human trafficking, educates the public, and advocates for stronger laws and policies to protect survivors.
